Founded by Aurély and Jean-Damien Gazeau-Baldi, the domaine stretches across 8 hectares in the Jasnières and Coteaux du Loir appellations—regions known for their distinct soils, cool climate, and historic vineyards.

The philosophy of the estate is centered on purity, patience, and respect for the land. Organic and biodynamic practices guide every aspect of vineyard work, with a strong emphasis on biodiversity and soil health. All grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with minimal intervention—native yeasts, no additives, and gentle extractions. The cellar work is intuitive, letting time and terroir shape the wines.

Maison Gazeau-Baldi is a boutique winery based in the northern Loire Valley, producing wines from the Jasnières and Coteaux du Loir appellations. The estate spans 8 hectares and is committed to organic and biodynamic farming. Emphasizing minimal intervention, all grapes are harvested by hand, with spontaneous fermentations and careful aging techniques designed to express the individuality of each parcel.

Wines

Jasnières (Chenin Blanc)
From old vines rooted in flint and clay soils, this wine is whole-bunch fermented for several months and aged on its lees before bottling. It reveals layers of citrus peel, ripe orchard fruit, white flowers, and a pronounced minerality. The palate is vibrant and textured, with racy acidity and a long, clean finish.

Rendez-Vous Blanc (Chenin Blanc)
Made from younger Chenin vines, this is a fresher, more immediate style. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and briefly aged in tank, it opens with notes of crisp pear, lemon zest, and crushed stone. Bright and linear, it's an accessible, food-friendly wine that still carries a mineral edge.

Coteaux du Loir Rouge (Pineau d’Aunis & Côt)
This red blend combines the spicy, floral character of old-vine Pineau d’Aunis with the structure and fruit of Côt (Malbec). The Pineau d’Aunis is whole-cluster fermented for added texture and complexity, while the Côt is gently pressed. The wine offers aromas of wild berries, rose petals, and subtle spice, with a light-bodied, mineral-driven palate and delicate tannins.
