Ladidadi
Ladidadi Wines is a vibrant natural wine project based in Portugal’s Dão region, where rugged granite soils and mountain breezes shape distinctive, expressive wines. Founded by Florian Tonello, the estate embraces organic farming and minimal intervention, allowing native grape varieties and terroir to speak with clarity. Working with small, hand-tended parcels near Penalva do Castelo, Ladidadi crafts energetic, unfiltered wines—skin-contact whites with texture and lift, bright and savory rosés, and fresh, aromatic reds like Jaén and Touriga Nacional. Each bottle captures the free-spirited energy of Dão’s highlands: pure, playful, and deeply connected to the land.

Ladidadi’s wines are a vibrant expression of the Dão region’s schistous soul and Florian Tonello’s nomadic passion for low-intervention winemaking. Rooted in organic practices across 2 hectares of high-altitude vines, these bottles capture the wild energy of old-vine grapes, with no added sulfites, unfiltered clarity, and a fierce commitment to terroir. Here’s an overview of their lineup:
Ortie The bold entry into Ladidadi’s reds, crafted from Touriga Nacional grown on steep, granite-flecked slopes. It bursts with herbal vibrancy—think nettles and wild herbs mingling with dark plums and a whisper of smoky earth—delivering a juicy, structured sip that’s as untamed as the Portuguese hills, with a fresh acidity that lingers like a summer storm.
Ladidadi Branco A lively white born from indigenous varieties like Encruzado and Cerceal, fermented spontaneously to honor the vineyard’s native yeasts. Crisp and electric, it unfolds with green apple zing, citrus peel, and a saline minerality drawn from Dão’s ancient soils, offering textured elegance and a playful fizz that echoes the region’s cool, misty mornings.
Ladidadi Tinto A field blend red drawing from Touriga Nacional, Jaen, and Tinta Roriz, coaxed gently from centenarian vines without intrusion. Medium-bodied and soulful, it reveals layers of red berries, violet florals, and subtle spice, with a velvety tannin grip and bright fruit purity that speaks to Florian’s hands-off philosophy and the land’s unyielding rhythm.
Ladidadi Rosé A pale, ethereal rosé from a saignée of Touriga and local kin, pressed lightly to preserve its fleeting charm. It dances with strawberry fields, grapefruit zest, and a dry, herbal finish, light on its feet yet deeply mineral, embodying the joy of Dão’s sun-drenched days and the effortless grace of natural fermentation.
Ladidadi’s wines pulse with authenticity, spontaneity, and an infectious thirst for life. Each one is a snapshot of Florian’s journey—from Berlin cellars to Lisbon bars—distilled into bottles that celebrate the raw poetry of Portugal’s interior, inviting you to drink deeply of the earth’s unpolished song.
